This beach has two camping areas: South Campground and North Campground. There are a total of 12 locations in the South Campground area. Each site is equipped with picnic tables, tent mats and grills.

North Beach Campground can accommodate large groups and is the perfect location for scout camping, unit events and parties. The place is equipped with concrete tables, grills, fire pits and has spectacular sunset views.

Beach fires are not allowed. All open flames must be housed in a grill, fire pit, or fire ring, all of which can be rented through the Outdoor Recreation Equipment Test Center.

Starting June 2020, campsites will become pet-friendly. Pet owners should familiarize themselves with the pet policy before bringing pets to the beach. Please make sure your pet is kept on a leash and dispose of all pet waste in the bins provided.

The power grid at our South Campground was badly damaged during the storm and is currently unavailable. We're working hard to bring this feature back so you can have a facility of your own. There is no electricity available in the North camp area.

Our experienced staff provides outdoor experiences and instruction programs for individuals and groups interested in outdoor activities and exploration. Our program is perfect for PT events, event dates, unit events, SFRG events, birthday parties, church, club events and more!

Please note that no food & drinks are provided but participants can bring their own. There are booths and audio equipment for rent.

Effective June 2020, Beach is now officially a dog-friendly beach! Families with pets can now take their dogs to the beach. All owners must follow the pet leash policy, owner and pet rules, and pet policy violations will be strictly enforced for the sake of safety, hygiene, and the protection of polite and wild life.

USAG-Okinawa requires all pets to be kept in care at all times with at least the following exceptions:

D. Pets participate in water activities such as boating, canoeing, etc. No ropes are allowed, but this does not include wading in the waves.

H. Pets are not allowed within 50 feet of marked turtles or migratory bird nests. The coast is home to many animals that nest from April 1st to August 31st. Nests are clearly marked and visible along the Beach.

Station Dog Park, located at the main entrance to the Beach, was the only untethered area designated (Zone 2) at installation. The dog park, opening September 10, 2021, has two separate kennels designed for large and small dogs.

1. The person in charge of the park is responsible for reading the park rules for dogs the first time they enter it.

2. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and registered at the Veterinary Clinic at the Kadena Air Force Base.

7. Pet waste will be collected and processed by each handler through the garbage/solid waste collection points provided.

The dog park does not currently have a water source, so be sure to bring water and water containers for your pets. The nearest water source (ie tap) is about 150 meters (3 minutes walk) from Ruiz Drive. If you go down Ruiz Drive you will see a faucet and tap left along the fence.
